Welling Rd Run: See the hill country & travel across beautiful creeks. Enjoy curves, hills, & old time metal and wood bridge. Also, see where the beautiful Illinois River comes into Lake Tenkiller. On this ride you will have a nice slow ride, no high speeds. Approx. 2 hours.
Boston Mountain Run: You begin this ride on Scenic Rt. 62 (the pathway of the "Trail of Tears"). You will go to Fayetteville, Ar. and get on the new beautiful 540 four lane that goes across the Boston Mts. You will go to Alma, Ar. (lots of places to eat & rest.) Then you will turn around and return on old Hwy 71 N. This is very steep & curvy with some of the most beautiful views this side of the Rockies. This ride will give you a combination of easy comfortable riding mixed with hills, curves. It has some scenic pull offs. (Bring your Binoculars). This is definitely worth the ride. Approx. 6 -7 hours.
Sequoyah's Home & Natural Dam Run: You will go west on Scenic Hwy 62 ("Trail of Tear's Route) to Ar. Hwy 59 South. You can view one of nature's wonders at Natural Dam, Ar. Stop and take a dip to cool off or just view the sites. Continue on Hwy 59 South to scenic 220. Take this east and go by historic Sequoyah's home. Take Ok. Hwy 59 north back to hwy 62. Nice roads, some curves, couple straight stretches, good views. Approx, 3 - 4 hours.
Cherokee Nation/Heritage Center/Murrell Home Run: This is a local, short historical ride. You will go to Tsa La Ge ( Cherokee Historical Village.) Tour this authentic reproduction of an early village, plus visit the museum. Next you will go by the Murrell Home Museum (open for tours) and then go by the Cherokee Nation Headquarters on your way back to the rally. We will have brochures at the rally. Approx. ½ - 2 hours.
Talimena Drive: This is the most scenic drive this side of the Blue Ridge Park Parkway. This ride is a road that runs across the Washita Mountains. These are the only East/West Mountains in the United States. This road is designed strictly for tourists. Scenes are similar to those on the Blue Ridge and have scenic pull offs at several places. You can stop at Queen Wilhelmina State Park and Lodge. They have a very nice buffet. From the Rally and back is a good days ride. It is well worth it. We personally make this ride once or twice a year and never get tired of it. Approx. 8 hours.
